Drew Running the 800 meter at U of WA

This is Drew Foster heroically running the 800 meter at Dempsey Indoor at the University of Washington on February 10, 2007. Present in the audience are his wife Kristen, his nephew Max, his brother Tyler and his sister-in-law Danalin. His official time was 1:55:52; not what he had wanted, but still pretty impressive.

Ty,
Thanks for the post. You can't see much but it was fun to hear you and Dana and the Maxster cheering him on. It is sure good to see the Goose back in the saddle again isn't it. The times will come......you ain't seen all the Goose has yet!!

I loved seeing Drew run! I am just so impressed by all of those athletes...except for the one who passed Drew up at the end. He's lame. But I loved seeing Drew running at the front of the pack for almost the entire race (which, from what I hear is not his usual way of doing things). Anyway, thanks, Drew, for inspiring me!

Oh, and if you listen toward the end of the tape you can hear Max really crying. He had a nap that was cut short and then we were screaming in his ear. It was a little too much for the little dude. He was a trooper, though, hanging out for hours in a strange and smelly environment. It got smellier and smellier and smellier as time went on. :)

To me, this video demonstrates Goose's complete failure at running. 2nd place? What happened to Go Big or Go Home?

J/K. I'm awful proud of our Goosey-Guy. Give him some more time, and he'll take those suckers on the back turn . . .

For myself, I only choose competitions that I know I can win. For instance, wrestling matches with my 3 year-old son, or one-on-one basketball with my wife, or a game of Trivial Pursuit against Joy's entire kindergarten class. By stacking the odds in my favor, I virtually guarantee victory in my every endeavor, and thus I bask continually in the glow of unrivaled victory. This strategy has really boosted my self-worth, and I highly recommend it.

Mark,

You've done it again. Funniest man in the world...

Ty, I don't know what is up with our computer, but we still haven't been able to watch your movie. Maybe you could e-mail Jeff and me the youtube address and we could watch it that way?

Whether you get around to it or not, I'm sure it was great watching the Goose run. I heard he might have a race in Tucson coming up?? Tucson's pretty close to us, you know...

Can anyone recommend the top performing Network Management program for a small IT service company like mine? Does anyone use Kaseya.com or GFI.com? How do they compare to these guys I found recently: N-able N-central endpoint security
? What is your best take in cost vs performance among those three? I need a good advice please... Thanks in advance!
